FOUR
Begin configuring the Bulk Scan In Cloud App
FIVE
Fill in the library and either the circulation desk or department code.
In this example we have filled it in for the Engineering Library.
In this example we have filled it in for the Main Library.
SIX
Have an input file of barcodes to scan in. The file should be in format txt, one barcode on each line, with no header.
SEVEN
In our example here all of the above barcodes are for items belonging to the Main Library. They are all “Status: Item not in place” and “Process type: Transit” “To Library: Main Library”. They all need to be scanned in at the Main Library. The Bulk Scan In Cloud App can do this in one quick easy step.
Here for example is the first item in the barcode file, barcode “AU65475”
EIGHT
At the Main Library we will scan in the file
NINE
Scroll down and see the log of the scan in.
TEN
Go check our sample record, barcode “AU65475”.
It is no longer in “Status: Item not in place” and “Process type: Transit”. It is “Status: In Place”.
This is the case for all items in the barcodes file.
