    Hello,

    At the University of Southern Queensland we are using the Citations API to upload digital object metadata from one of our EQUELLA collections into Alma. Unfortunately, it seems that the Citations API is only able to load citations which have a type of ‘BK’ and secondary_type of ‘BK’. We would ideally like to have the Citation API upload other ‘types’ (e.g. ‘JR’, ‘CR’) as well but when we try other types a type parameter error message given. We have looked at the CitationTypeAttribute and ReadingListCitationSecondaryType code tables and all appears to be fine. Could you please provide advice on whether types other than ‘BK’ are possible to upload and or what we can do to make this work?

    Kind regards,
    Kirsten

    Hi,

    Using this body, im able to create the citation with any secondary type.
    You can change the secondary type to be whatever you want:
    {
    “type”:{“value”:”BK”},
    “secondary_type”:{“value”:”LIB_GUIDES”},
    “status”:{“value”:”Complete”},
    “metadata”:{
    “title”:”My title”

    }

    Best regards,
