    Hello,
we noticed that the Cloup App “Multiple Item Edit” doesn’t work from the “Received Items List” in Alma.
There is an error message “Could not load item, Barcode is illegal”.
Is it by design or is it a bug ?
    Thank you for your answer,
    Kind regards
    Camille

    Hi Camille,
What was the barcode? Does it have any special characters within it?
    Thanks,
    Ori

    Hello Ori,
    The characters are alphanumeric ones.
Some of the items doesn’t have any barcode at all, maybe that’s the problem. But at the same time, the app is working fine in the simple List of item view, even if some doesn’t have a barcode.
    Kind regards
    Camille

    Thanks – that was it!
In the “Received Items List” the Cloud App receives only the barcodes (while in the simple list it gets the full API URL /bibs/ID/holdings/ID/items/ID).
To support items without barcodes We’ll need to make a change on Alma’s side. We’ll give it a try and update here.
    BR,
    Ori

    Update:
Support for items without barcodes will be added in Alma’s Dec (2021) Release.

    Dear Ori,
We tested this morning and the app now works even when there is no barcode.
    Thank you very much
    Kind regards

    Hello,
I tried this app on our PSB. Curiously, every time I edit items in this app, the first item in the list is deleted. What is the reason? Please see the captured video below.
