RefWorks
Configuring refworks_group_code in Customer Settings
In order to integrate with RefWorks, you will need to configure the parameter: refworks_group_code under the Leganto customer settings in Alma.
See below how to get your RefWorks group code:
To enable users to toggle between old and new RefWorks, also set the parameter new_refworks to true.
Note: when using new RefWorks, there is no need to configure the refwokrs_group_code.
For more information, see Enabling RefWorks in the Leganto Administration Guide.
Configure Leganto user settings
After configuring the RefWorks group code, any user in Leganto can configure his personal RefWroks username and password in the user settings
Getting your RefWorks group code
On your RefWorks login page, there is a link that says “forgot your login?” Select this link and enter the e-mail address that you used when registering for your RefWorks account. Your login name, password and group code will be e-mailed to you. Be advised that some subscribing organizations have chosen purposely to omit information in these e-mails (some do not include group codes or passwords). If this is the case, you will need to contact your local RefWorks Administrators (usually the librarians) for further assistance, or access RefWorks from an on-campus IP-authenticated computer.
Supported versions
This integration only works with old RefWorks account (RefWorks 2).
Currently it will not work with new RefWorks accounts.
