Create an integration profile
NOTE: Alma supports multiple LTI integration profiles. You can configure a new LTI 1.3 integration profile in addition to an existing LTI 1 integration profile. Please see last section in this page regarding the domains.
Create a new profile
In Alma open the configuration screen and head to Leganto->LTI->Integration Profiles
Click the “Add Integration Profile”
Select Integration Type = LTI Tool
Select your LMS (Each LMS might display different fields in the next screen)
Click Next, you will now see the profile.
Configure the profile
Select LTI Version = 1.3 and click save.
Return to this page and copy the details under the LTI DEFINITIONS section (in the example above copy the 3 URLs ,for Moodle you should have 2 URLs and a public key).
You will need to pass this data to your LMS administrator for configuring the LMS.
At the end of configuring the LMS you should receive back from your LMS administrator some data to be copied into this integration profile.
NOTE: Some profiles have prepopulated fields (as seen above) in order to save time in filling in the details. In cases when working against sandbox environments these values might require modifications.
LTI 1.1 and 1.3 in parallel
When working both with LTI 1.1 and LTI 1.3 in parallel you will need to make sure the domains in the 2 integration profiles differ.
This is required by the LMS when using 2 different LTI links.
In order to get the domain changed please open a sales force ticket and support will perform this change for you.
Image below shows 2 integration profiles one is 1.1 and the other is 1.3. Both hold different domains.
